JFK61_550_AIO.jpg (44387 bytes)

I've had a Minox B since approximately 1959, given to me by my
Father.  I haven't used it in several years, but since I found
your website, I'm inspired to get it out and use it again.

Let me think a bit about the caption.  Y'know I was thinking about all
this and got to looking at a few more pictures I had taken
with my Minox way back in college.  I went to the Naval Academy...
and found a few pictures of Roger Staubach (maybe a bit before
your time, but was a pretty famous Quarterback for the Dallas
Cowboys) in uniform as a Midshipman.  Probably got a few others
that might be of interest.

In fact, I have all the original negatives and even a few of
the old style cloth "bag" mailers we used to submit the films
in.  Some of the "ads" enclosed when the pictures came back
are pretty funny now.

I thought you might be intested in one shot I took while I
was in Prep School in the DC area.  The shot is of JFK at his
inaugural Parade - January 1961, taken from bleachers along the
parade route.  The slight cobblestone effect is due to the
fact that it was scanned directly from a print with the matte
finish.  Though JFK is fuzzy, Jackie's "pillbox" hat is quite
unmistakable.
